I'm Franco Moyano, the founder of Moyano & Co. I'm a bookkeeper based in Barrie, Ontario, and I work exclusively with trades businesses and contractors.

I chose to specialize in trades businesses for a simple reason: the books are genuinely more complex than most people realize, and most bookkeepers don't understand the nuances: holdbacks, T5018s, job costing, seasonal cash flow, subcontractor vs. employee rules. I wanted to build a practice where every client would get someone who actually gets their business, not just their bank statements.

I'm 26. I'm not going to pretend that's a lot of grey hair. But what I bring is deep knowledge of the specific rules and systems that matter for Ontario contractors, modern cloud-based tools that make everything more efficient, and genuine availability. When you call or message, you get a same-day acknowledgment and a clear timeline for when you'll have a full answer.

I grew up in Barrie, I know this area, and I take seriously the responsibility of looking after the financial side of local businesses.

We keep your books clean and organized year-round so that when your accountant gets involved at tax time, they're working from a tidy package, not untangling a mess. We coordinate directly with them on anything they need. Most clients find their accountant bills drop after coming onboard.
