Straightforward monthly bookkeeping packages

Fixed monthly pricing agreed before work begins, with software included only where it is needed for your selected scope.

Most bookkeepers hide their pricing.

I think that's backwards. Here are my starting prices, so you can decide if it makes sense before you ever have to pick up the phone.

Required software is included. Your agreement lists each active tool. Core generally uses QuickBooks Online Plus and Dext. Plus may also use Wagepoint and Plooto when payroll or an A/P or A/R workflow is selected.

Two monthly plans. One cleanup path.

Core and Plus are monthly subscriptions. Books Assessment & Cleanup is a separately quoted one-time project. All prices are in CAD before HST.

  • Identification of duplicate, unsupported or miscategorized items

Start with a Books Assessment
Core starts at $500/month, Plus starts at $950/month, and the Books Assessment is $450, before HST. The assessment fee is credited toward an approved cleanup project when the cleanup proposal is accepted and its required deposit is paid within 30 days of the proposal date. Your exact monthly scope and active software are confirmed in writing. Any cleanup work is quoted and approved separately as a one-time project.

What every monthly engagement includes.

These apply to Core and Plus. Cleanup projects use a separate written authorization.

You talk to Franco, not a junior

Clients currently work directly with Franco through onboarding and the monthly close process.

Required software included

The software required for your selected scope is listed in your agreement and included in the bundled fee unless your proposal says otherwise.

Simple month-to-month terms

The agreement sets out the active services, monthly fee and responsibilities. Either party may end the monthly engagement with 30 days’ written notice; fees for completed work and approved work in progress remain payable.

Year-end accountant package

Available trial balance, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements and filing summaries are organized for your external accountant. This can reduce avoidable year-end questions, but accountant fees remain outside my control.

Scope reviewed, not just billed

If your volume changes, you're told before the invoice does, not after.

Scope confirmed before work begins

A free fit call confirms whether the service may be suitable. Detailed file review and cleanup scoping begin with a paid Books Assessment when needed.

Frequently asked questions.

Your fixed monthly price is based on transaction volume, number of financial accounts, payroll frequency and employee count, the selected A/P or A/R workflow, subcontractor volume, file condition and other agreed responsibilities. You receive a written monthly quote before recurring work begins.

Core starts at $500 per month and is designed for approximately 150 monthly transactions and two financial accounts. Businesses above those limits are assessed individually and may require Plus or a revised written scope.

If your books are current and reasonably organized, you may only require standard onboarding and account setup. If the books are behind, incomplete or unreliable, the first step is a $450 Books Assessment, paid in advance. You then receive a separate written quote for any cleanup required before monthly bookkeeping begins. The $450 assessment fee is credited toward an approved cleanup project when the cleanup proposal is accepted and its required deposit is paid within 30 days of the proposal date. No cleanup project starts without your approval.

Yes. The tools required for the selected scope are listed in your agreement and included in the monthly fee unless the proposal states otherwise. Core generally uses QuickBooks Online Plus and Dext. Plus may also use Wagepoint and Plooto when the corresponding workflows are active.

Moyano & Co. performs only the bookkeeping and filing-administration services selected in the agreement. Corporate and personal income-tax returns, tax planning and tax opinions remain with your accountant or tax adviser. I provide the available year-end bookkeeping package described in the agreement.

Core and Plus are month-to-month under a written agreement and may be cancelled with 30 days notice. Cleanup is a one-time project governed by a separate authorization and payment schedule.

A T5018 is a CRA information return for qualifying construction contract payments. The rules generally depend on the nature of the business, the subcontractor and the payment amount. Plus includes year-round payment-data tracking where records support it; annual T5018 preparation and filing are separately selected and quoted.

I primarily serve Barrie and Simcoe County and can work remotely with suitable trades businesses elsewhere in Ontario.
